Christmas in Canada

Long time out of touch.

We have been a little busy as I'm sure all of you have been too. The trip home from Arizona was long, but safe and uneventful. That's the way we like it. We made it home to Ontario on Dec, 13th. Weather co-operated. Cold, but no miserable stuff!

We never did see green grass, but that wasn't expected. There was one morning of bad weather, but Jim and I did not have to drive that day. One daughter-in-law, with two of my beloved grandbabies, slid into the ditch that morning. No injuries, no damage and good samaritans had her out within 15 minutes. Thank you good people!

We had a busy wonderful Christmas. It is so special to be with those you love.

Just before we were to head back south, we had one of those fluffy wet snowfalls that coat everything like icing on a cake. As much as I dislike Canadian winters, it was beautiful to see - and disappeared quickly from the roads.

Lovely! eh?

Happy New Year!
